Our Educational Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on the knowledge that children learn through play. We respect
each child's uniqueness and allow them to grow at their own pace. We provide a safe
and nurturing environment that allows children to develop in all areas: socially,
emotionally, cognitively, linguistically and physically. Our goal is to instill
a joy in learning that each child will carry throughout their life.
Parents' Role
The success of our program is dependent upon the wholehearted support and involvement
of all members. As a member family you will:
- Participate in the classroom (approximately three times per month)
- Serve on a committee (Assist with housekeeping, maintenance, fundraising, etc)
- Participate in our E-Scrip program
- Attend three general membership meetings per year (Here parents have the opportunity
to form school policy, meet other families and participate in Parent Educatio)
